ACORN's "web of connections" in NC

The Civitas Institute just wrote about ACORN's "web of connections" in North Carolina and it's a veritable who's who of our state's progressive infrastructure. Although BlueNC is missing, I'm proud to say that Traction is in there!

The best part is an image of that web, again including Traction's logo. (Is it wrong that I'm thrilled they included us?)

Here's what Civitas says about us (which is almost 100% inaccurate):

Traction and their blog, getTraction.org, define themselves as the “future of the progressive movement.” Traction was created through the Tides Foundation from a Z. Smith Reynolds grant.

I hate to give them more page views, but if you must see it for yourself, go to this webpage.

Civitas folk, we're working to build a strong progressive movement here in NC. Framing the collaborations as nefarious, though, is the pot calling the kettle black!

Hahahahahaha

Damn, Layna, I didn't know Acorn was the source of Bank of America and Traction too! You go, girl!

Somebody call Ken Lay before his stock options expire!

This is very funny, truly the pot calling the kettle whatever. Truth be told, the "web of connections" in the Civitas world are called "strings" running straight from Puppetmaster Pope right down through the hole in the top of DeLuca's pointy little head, as shown in this new, updated map of the Puppetshow.

and we really appreciate it!

Yes, indeed!

Feel like you're spinning your wheels?
Get some Traction... turning energy into progressive movement

It's a compliment to you, James

Frannie is so jealous of your graphic, he tried to make one of his own.

Of course Frannie's graphic is full of factual errors, but that doesn't stop him in any other realm.

Thanks

I took it as two compliments. First the pure rip off, and second, the omission of BlueNC.

That said, you're right about the factual errors. The Puppetmaster is indeed the single "seed" behind the entire Show and all it's tentacles ... many of which I haven't even included. The idea that Acorn is behind anything in North Carolina is absurd on its face.

What's with all these reactionaries named Francis? Did I miss a memo?

Total rip-off

And it makes a "Seven Degrees of Kevin Bacon" analysis seem cogent in comparison.

Francis, in case you're reading this, you may want to include Richard Burr somewhere on that crayola scribble, considering how much money Bank of America execs gave him.

By the way, Francis Roche

would vote to defund you and your Acorn allies if he were in Congress. I wonder if Francis would have also voted to terminate government contracts with Haliburton and Blackwater, both of whom have been guilty of scamming taxpayers for more than a decade now. Or if he'd be in favor of bringing criminal charges against Bush and Cheney for lying about WMDs in Iraq. Somehow, I doubt it. Francis is just another IOKIYAR kind of guy, almost certainly on a short leash to the Puppetmaster. Won't be long before I have to add him to the Puppetshow.
