Additional Profile Fields: IM and Home Town
There are now some additional fields on your profile page, which you can access by clicking "My account" in the navigation sidebar to your left. There is a field for your home town, and fields for instant messaging and chat service screennames. (I tried to include the most popular services, but let me know if you're using something else and I can add that too.)
You can fill in these fields by clicking the "edit" tab on the "My account" page, then clicking the "personal information" sub-heading.
SECURITY: Is this information public? Basically, yes. You have to be logged in to view a user's profile, but remember that all you need to be able to log in is an email address and two minutes. So use your head when deciding whether to share.
Are there any other fields that should be added? Let me know in the comments to this thread and we'll get it set up.

Social networking sites
We should probably have spaces to enter social networking site contact info (myspace, orkut, friendster, etc.).
Should there also be fields for your dKos and MyDD screen names?
(We can thank young Sophia Grace for this development, by the way, who uncharacteristically decided to get up an hour early this morning.)
Thank you Sophia
Your latest pictures and video are adorable. Absolutely adorable.

Sophia says thanks
Actually, she blew a big wad of snot towards the computer, but I figured that translated to "thanks." (She has a cold, which explains the getting up early; I imagine that passifiers are immensely unsatisfying when you can't breathe through your nose!)
Poor baby
Hope she feels better soon. Colds are tough on little ones, especially if they are not sitting up. The reclining most babies do inhibits proper drainage...ifn ya know what I mean.

I do!
We have a pillow under one end of her mattress, but we have to go in and slide her back up to the top every few hours or else she ends up sleeping crumpled against the bars at the bottom of the crib. Maybe I'll get some velcro this weekend.
Car seats work wonders for stuffy babys
Keeps them reclined and doesn't allow them to get squished against the crib bars.

My darling girl, when will you understand that 'normal' isn't necessarily a virtue. It rather denotes a lack of courage." - Alice Hoffman, Practical Magic
We did that once, and you're right -- wonders
But lately I've gotten the impression that she isn't crazy about her car seat. It's nothing that she's said, just an impression. :)
