The AFP red shirts are coming!
How exciting! Art Pope's daddy's money is now going to create the illusion of a grass roots uprising, with hundreds of Puppets joining Dallas (who is neither a dog nor a bus driver) Woodhouse on a road trip to Washington!

Senator Richard Burr to speak at Code Red Rally in Washington on TuesdaySome bus routes still have room for you to sign up!!!
North Carolina Senator Richard Burr will join Radio Host Laura Ingraham, Senators Jim DeMint and Tom Coburn, and freedom fighters from around the country at the Capitol in Washington, DC this Tuesday, December 15 at 1:30pm to rally against the effort by the Senate leadership to hijack the country’s health care system.
“Senator Richard Burr is a leader in free market health care reform and we look forward to him speaking at our Code Red Rally on Tuesday,” said Dallas Woodhouse, North Carolina State Director of Americans for Prosperity.
AFP-NC members and friends will do their part to help Senator Burr and others defeat the current Senate health care bill by boarding buses across the state for a day trip to DC to rally against Majority Leader Harry Reid’s health care bill and visit Senator Hagan’s office.
We still have a few seats on buses from Elizabeth City/Kitty Hawk, Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, Wake Forest, Wilmington, and Goldsboro. (Jacksonville is sold out). So get in your car or reserve a spot on one of the buses today. Bus cost is $25 per person.
If you are driving, meet us at the rally at 1:30 pm at Upper Senate Park on Constitution Ave (between New Jersey & Delaware NE)We must tell the Senate and the rest of the Washington politicians they can’t ignore the voice of “We, the people.” It’s all or nothing; it’s time to show up for the final showdown.
Dallas Woodhouse
State Director, AFP-NCP.S. Those of you who sign up to ride the bus will receive an email with complete details soon. You will need to bring a lunch and drinks for the ride to DC. Some buses make a very brief stop but others will not. There is a bathroom on each of our chartered buses. Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and walking shoes. It is necessary to walk several blocks. Hand-made signs are encouraged for the rally but keep in mind they will probably be confiscated before entering the Senate building. Bring a small amount of cash for a fast food dinner on the way back home. If possible, WEAR RED!
Show up for the showdown? There is no showdown, Mr. Woodhouse. Obstructionist Republicans have already won this battle unless Harry Reid finds the backbone to end-run the filibuster via reconciliation. Just pray that your god-forsaken bus doesn't run into a ditch. The poor suckers traveling with you who don't have insurance might need an ambulance ... you'll cover that cost, right?
