the number of blackberry plants I have hidden beneath an obscene amount of honeysuckle vine.
Obscene is having 7 of my 8 zucchini plants die from the attack of the squash bugs, having them move to my yellow crook neck squash and losing 2 of my 8 plants, finding a few on my pumpkins and butternut squash and then having them move to my tomatoes. Obscene is what I do to those durned bugs when I pull them off my plants. heh ( I have removed all the eggs and hatchlings, so just getting the nymphs and the adults by hand now.....)
Speaking of blackberries.......making jam again today.

I go out early and I go out after the sun is behind the trees for the heavy work. My girlfriend - who is helping harvest and eat my blackberries - is also helping me cut paths through the thickets. We have two separate thickets covering about a quarter acre total.
Now my garden....it is a labor of love. I've never had one this big and we want a bigger one next year. Last night I fixed baked butternut squash (cut in half, seeded, tiny bit of salt, butter and brown suger...wrapped in foil and baked) fried zucchini and fried okra (I know, I know...it's bad for you) and a salad out of mixed lettuce (I'm growing about six different kinds right now), peppers, cukes, tomatoes....all from the garden. It was an amazing dinner. I've put away dill pickles, strawberry jam, blackberry jam and I'm pickling yellow squash today. The early heat has hurt my tomatoes, peas and beans. My bell peppers are going gang busters. We eat them about three times a week.
Now....if I could just find something useful to do with the poison ivy, oak and sumac (we have all three) that grow readily back in our woods and along the paths, I'd be rich.

Obscene is googling "employment" or "health care"
Because there is no point in doing so.
Especially in Pensacola. No offense to Pensacolians, I'm actually just a bit down the handle and it is equally obscene to do so here as well.
I guess obscene is pretending obscenity matters.

Are you using firefox yet? Probably so.
This probably isn't that helpful, but if you get firefox to remember your password you ought not be asked for it that often.
