The curriculum committee has sent the proposal back to Orr for "clarification" about just how deep the takeover strategy runs. Will the Puppymaster end up controlling only the law school, or will he get the history department as well?
Proposal currently with Orr for action. The timetable is uncertain. If and when the proposal comes back, the curriculum committee will endorse or not, then pass to the faculty for a vote.
If Pope were making this pitch to UNC, it would have a $5 million endowment behind it. At NCCU, he's talking a couple hundred grand. Which is why this video rings so true:
