North Carolina BlogNetNews has a new editor: me.
As some of you know, I run a blog in Cabarrus County called Cabarrus Cheap Seats. Right now, I'm looking for blogs that meet the following criteria:
- Are at least 90 days old
- Are updated at least weekly (not counting hiatuses)
- Have 1/3 or greater content that's North Carolina-based.
- Isn't the official blog of a political or advocacy organization.

As for agreeing with Mike Easley
I'm still peeved about the roads, the lottery, the judicial system, and unfunded mandates - so don't think I'm endorsing him.
However, I'm rather passionate against ignorant immigrant bashing and the Governor was the only one to stand up to it.

Well, before you think I'm too nice...
Keep in mind that I'm under investigation by the youngest investigative reporter in the County for a "medical experiment" that my wife and I have embarked on.
As for being both nice and Republican - to crudely paraphrase what I'd heard someone say about Southerners and the media, in the North when there's a disaster the media finds normal people to interview...same thing happens here in the South and it's Ella Mae describing what her imploding trailer sounded when the tornado threw it and her neighbor's El Camino together.
Being a Republican is sometimes like that.

A little over a month away. It's wonderful news. My favorite picture is the mad scientist. Palmer looks like he could certainly discover new ways to um...well... challenge mommy and daddy. :)
