Battling crazy

Americans for Prosperity has learned that Governor Perdue is planning to veto “The Balanced Budget Act of 2011,”a bill that makes modest and necessary spending cuts to this years budget to help close a 2.7 billion dollar projected defecit [sic] in next years budget without raising taxes.

Instead of providing North Carolina with a fiscally sound and responsible government, Perdue plans to continue her spending binge. Worse off, Perdue also plans to include massive tax increases in next years proposed budget that she will submit to the General Assembly in the coming days.

Please tell Governor Perdue that she should sign SB 13, “The Balanced Budget Act of 2011.” Should Perdue veto it contact your legislator and urge them to override Governor Perdue’s irresponsible decision.

Sincerely,

Dallas Woodhouse

Too bad the bus driver can't think any better than he can spell. But he does have a point. It is worth writing to Governor Perdue. If you're so inclined, please tell her not to try to balance the budget on the backs of poor, hard working North Carolinians. It's time to raise taxes on multimillionaires.
