The best line of the weekend summing up the idiocy that is Sarah Palin and her mouth-breathing followers comes from Rolling Stone's Matt Taibbi, of course:
It’s basically a risk-free strategy. You get up on stage and you say, “I’m just like all you idiots. And you idiots rock!” People will fall for this stuff. The ingenious part in Sarah Palin’s case is that she probably genuinely believes it.

The only problem is that she must know
only idiots would come to see her....
Palin is the queen of an alternate universe
where opinion always trumps fact. I think of her as the witch who looks into the mirror asking "who's the prettiest" and one day she's gonna get an answer she doesn't like. Either that or she'll figure out her adoring "mirror" is nothing but the steam rising off piles of shit, and that piles of shit aren't too particular...or smart.
