HR 5092
Submitted by Illicitizen on Tue, 04/27/2010 - 12:19pmhttps://forms.house.gov/kissell/contact-form.shtml
Congressman, please support:
H.R.5092
Title: To amend section 48 (relating to depiction of animal cruelty) of title 18, United States Code, and for other purposes.I do not believe that other people's freedom of speech extends beyond other's right to not suffer, be killed or exploited. I hope you do not. I supported you in the last election.
I will campaign for a republican, or a door mat, or a potted plant over him if Kisell doesn’t support this. Sue Myrick & Howard Coble; both republican NC congressmen are co-sponsors.

Submitted by Illicitizen on Wed, 11/18/2009 - 1:22pmHeath Shuler: One of the reasons I have long supported the U.S. biotechnology industry is that it is a homegrown success story that has been an engine of job creation in this country and in my home state of North Carolina.
Oh, that's cool. But that sounds familiar...

Hagan Votes with Burr on HR 627 Amendment
Submitted by Illicitizen on Thu, 05/14/2009 - 2:59pmIn a nutshell what was proposed was an interest rate cap on Credit Cards.
So while banks are free to get into mortgage backed derivatives, hedge funds and any other manner of unsavory business that would mar the credit of other businesses; they are still permitted to loan shark their customers for flippant reasons.
Thanks a lot Senator Hagan. This two-party electoral system should just be called "Dumb and Dumber."

Richard Burr's One-Man Bank Panic Attack
Submitted by Illicitizen on Wed, 04/15/2009 - 11:33am“On Friday night, I called my wife and I said, ‘Brooke, I am not coming home this weekend. I will call you on Monday. Tonight, I want you to go to the ATM machine, and I want you to draw out everything it will let you take," Burr said, according to the Hendersonville Times-News. "And I want you to tomorrow, and I want you to go Sunday.’ I was convinced on Friday night that if you put a plastic card in an ATM machine the last thing you were going to get was cash.”
Now honestly, is that the kind of leadership that is needed in a crisis?

Kissell Co-Sponsor HR 1147? Or Not? (Local Community Radio Act of 2009)
Submitted by Illicitizen on Wed, 04/08/2009 - 9:51amThe Local Community Radio Act would effectively end decades of radio domination by Big Media and their mouthpieces.
35 45 Members of Congress have co-sponsored HR 1147, Larry Kissell is not one of them.
