A terrible thing happen today....I sign my 20 yr old sons back up on my private health insurance. I won't go into all reason why they did not have their own health insurance even though one works full time for a fortune 500 company in a small town and the other works part time while going to school. But, I am sure this horrible thing of me getting them back on my insurance is in some way commie Muslim plot to get our guns and raise our taxes ... what shall we do?

It becomes more and more obvious that health care reform is needed. In just one short Google search on the NC 11th Congressional district the following information was found. It is appalling that the amount of uninsured in the district. In a quick search of Congressman Shuler’s official website (http://shuler.house.gov/ or http://shuler.house.gov/legislation-all.shtml) I found nothing related to the current debate on health care reform. Maybe you can find it. The handwringing and nay saying in Congress must stop. We elected these folks to pass progressive legislation. We lived with eight years of screw you politics and we see what that got us. Two wars and a huge debt.

How much more will we take? Over the weekend we get more bad news from the financial markets. We see banks collapsing around us. We have people who are not working or can't find a job. The cost of gas and other fuels have skyrocketed. This administration has been a sleep at the wheel for nearly eight years, and yet we are considering electing John McCain. What kinda dumb asses are we? Do we truly believe we will not get more of the same? It is the biggest load of BS to believe the republican't have rebranded themselves to be on the side of the people. BS! The list of grievances against this administration are long and can be seen on any number of blog sites.

Cindy....Mrs. McCain....Lady of the House(s) is offended by the all the talk about the houses John and she owns.....I mean she owns. I would say those who are losing their homes might be a little offended too...wait did we not hear yesterday the economy is turning around?

Time to sell a home John the market is turning around....

It is my request that each person go to their local Democrat headquarters this weekend and Monday and volunteer. Take one day this weekend and do the work need to to turn out the vote and next week work and the week after work...there is to much to lose here...
