Plug-In Hybrid Charging Stations
Submitted by Yankees Fan on Mon, 12/20/2010 - 5:07pmWith the introduction of the Nissan Leaf and the Chevy Volt (and other electric vehicles or plug-in hybrids), we need to start to create a market for these cars by introducing charging stations around the state. While there are plans for some localities to have pilot programs, there needs to be a much greater effort throughout the state to accommodate these vehicles. Widespread construction of charging stations should help to create a market for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.

Montana Republican Caucus
While losing South Dakota was tough for Barack Obama, John McCain was only able to get 22% of the vote in the Montana Caucuses. How embarrasing!

A Giuliani Foreign Policy
Submitted by Yankees Fan on Thu, 10/25/2007 - 9:47pmThe September/October issue of Foreign Affairs offers an article written by Presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani describing his foreign policy if elected President. As I read it, I became increasingly disturbed by the direction this country's foreign policy would take under a Giuliani administration. Mr. Giuliani needs take heed of the quote by philosopher George Santayana: "Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it."

Healthy Fire Initiative
Submitted by Yankees Fan on Thu, 10/25/2007 - 9:32pmAmericans need to see the damage done by conservative policies enacted over the past seven years. Through Orwellian use of language and slight of hand, they have convinced the American people they are doing one thing, while in reality they are doing another. Bush's Healthy Forest Initiative is just such an example.
Justice in America?
Submitted by Yankees Fan on Mon, 07/02/2007 - 5:39pmI am incensed. This is ridiculous. Am man is convicted of multiple counts of perjury and obstruction of justice. It is widely believed he is still refusing to tell the whole truth to prosecutors. What does the President do?
