Twitter's truncated, grammatically incorrect messages train our brains to under-perform, Dr. Tracy Alloway said in a phone interview. In contrast, the elaborate social connections of Facebook stimulate the brain.

One of the original queens of hard core rock, wrote a killer song called Brain Drain way back when.
