Breaking News: Dole Campaign Robo Calls State Government Workers

The Dole campaign is now robocalling state government workers. This morning a friend of mine who works in state government received an anti-Hagan robocall that ended in the line - "paid for by the Elizabeth Dole Committee."

This call was received on my friend's OFFICE phone - her direct dial number.

The call featured two attacks - the godless Americans BS, and the white country club BS. The call was from the number 1-800-851-6943.

There are those who know more about campaign finance than I do, but this has GOT to be illegal is some fashion or another, as they calling into phones owned by the taxpayers.

I've gotten 4 or more calls from her

On the last one, I dialed "0" and it said my number would be removed from the call list. So...they know darn well who they are calling.

The number is on one of the Duke campus telephone exchanges, so they know full-well who they're calling.

They may know full well, but I'm guessing it's just more Republican incompetence.
