Burr vulnerable
Despite Burr's big money advantage, this seat is in play. And if the prevailing mood among voters remains anti-incumbent in November, NC might have two Democrats in the Senate!
We need to do everything we can to get out the vote!

More Bad Poll Numbers for BurrThe Civitas Institute, a Republican think tank in North Carolina, released new polls this week in two GOP leaning state senate districts that found Richard Burr with approval numbers way under water.
In SD-45, which ranks an R+10 on the organization's Partisan Index (similar to Charlie Cook's PVI), Burr's approval is only 33% with 43% of voters disapproving of him. In SD-50, which is an R+6, Burr's numbers are similarly bad at 29% approving and 39% disapproving.
These polls were conducted by SurveyUSA. If they're finding Burr's poll numbers to be that bad in Republican friendly parts of the state I can only imagine how poor they would look statewide.

Yea, apparently one Republican agrees with you
and he's started a blog about it. 'Republican against our sorry, do-nothing North Carolina Senator, Richard Burr'. He also has this picture on the site.....
Fitting isn't it?
Beat Burr, elect a Democrat to US Senate from NC
Oh my gosh, this is so true. Heide thanks for posting the result of a republican poll.
I wonder if they posted this to scare their own base into action? Can Sarah Palin motivate NCers to work?
THE Democratic voters outnumber the Republicans in this state, so all we have to do is get them informed. Most do not vote in midterm elections.
So all we have to do is change that behavior.
If we vote, we win.
But WE means more than the readers of this blog.
Lead, help the Party and oFA.
Pa results are a foreshadowing. will our run off distract us?
We can beat Burr.

THE Democratic voters
It amazes me that people continue to site the registration advantage that Democrats hold in our state. This is such a misleading statistic. I would estimate that easily 1/4 to 1/3 of those in our state that are registered as Democrats seldom actually vote that way. I wish they would go ahead and change their registration to Republican or UNAF but they just will not do it.
I'm a moderate Democrat.
14000 more votes for Obama?
I have met a few Democrats who would not vote for Obama. They actually voted Republican and I recognize that we have that going on in our state.
But we do have a registration advantage.
We won in 2008.
Our House and State Senate are blue.
The larger problem is getting people to vote in non presidential races.
