Call Hagan and Burr: Protect the internet
Websites all over the world are going dark today to protest corporate attempts to take more control over the internet. BlueNC is supporting these protests by frontpaging this post asking you to contact Kay Hagan and Richard Burr. Please ask these senators to stand with people instead of corporations when it comes to protecting the internet.
You can use this link at Daily Kos to reach the senators, or contact them directly here and here.

Be sure to contact your US Senators and tell them to oppose PIPA.

Progressives are the true conservatives.
Take action on SOPA / PIPA
Daily Kos has a very-easy-to-use form for reaching Hagan and Burr. Go ahead and click through. It's time to get in the "activated" mode for the slog ahead. Get used to seeing these requests ... and get in the habit of responding to them.

Best breakdown on SOPA / PIPA
Everything you need to know, with this killer paragraph:
Takeaway? I'm guessing Senator Hagan would fall into the camp of those not understanding how the internet works. Lesson to be learned? Don't cosponsor laws when you don't understand what you're doing.
The day the LOLcats died
Hagan is one disappointment after another
Ugh
Then it is incumbent on us to make her a one-term corporatist
Annouce that you will refuse to vote for her in the primary or the general.
A small portion of the "Democratic" base can have an enormous impact when they just refuse to cooperate with corporate fascists.
Part of me doubts Hagan even wants to run a statewide race again in 2014.
What are the odds of her "retiring from the Senate" like Chris Dodd (Corporatist-CT) and peddling oligarchical influence for some fascist group just like Dodd is for these SOPA/PIPA backers?
Taking bets on how long before Hagan bails on PIPA
Like a sinking ship.
