Here's the whole front page of this newspaper-looking, extremely partisan piece of fear-mongering garbage I just found in my mailbox a little while ago. The picture of a crashed car is used to accent their attack piece directed at Reps Ronnie Sutton and Pricey Harrison for a bill (H1185) which allows for habitual DWI offenders to eventually get their driving privileges back, instead of a lifetime ban:
And this page 2-3 spread covers tax breaks for megacorporations and scary pictures of Death Row inmates, complete with detailed listings of those nasty Democrats who voted for such outrages:
If this is not partisan electioneering, I'll eat my hat.
Is Jesus Banned?
No, jesus is not banned. Any NC Rep can dream a little dream of j whenever he or she wants. Just as any NC Rep can dream a little dream of rumpelstiltskin, Eric Cartman, Paul Bunyan, etc. whenever he or she wants.
What should be banned, and appropriately so, is the pushing by the state and its representatives any one religion/god/religious figure.

Maybe it would be better just to ban the bipartisan Christianists themselves. From what I can see, they are helpless to resist the siren song of salvation. They can't stop themselves from trying to trample on the rights of others to be free of their evangelism.
