A terrible thing happen today....I sign my 20 yr old sons back up on my private health insurance. I won't go into all reason why they did not have their own health insurance even though one works full time for a fortune 500 company in a small town and the other works part time while going to school. But, I am sure this horrible thing of me getting them back on my insurance is in some way commie Muslim plot to get our guns and raise our taxes ... what shall we do?

Fascism, pronounced /ˈfæʃɪzəm/, is a radical and authoritarian nationalist political ideology. Fascists seek to organize a nation according to corporatist perspectives, values, and systems, including the political system and the economy.
mtn_blue, please read the definition above and then try to reflect on your memory of corporate ties to communism or the Muslim religion in this country. I hope I have stumbled upon sarcasm and over-reacted.
There are many who feel that anytime we point out fascism in this country, we are calling people Nazis. This is just not the case.
Fascism is the melding of corporate and government interests that disregard and steamroll private citizen interests which is exactly what we have been doing, heavily since 1980, and stealthily since before that. The crowning jewel on fascisim is the appointment of Alito and Roberts as supreme court justices and Roberts as chief justice.
This gave birth to the Citizens United case which Roberts not only wanted to hear, but sought out and expanded upon(a new meaning to activist judges) and resulted in the opening of the floodgates for the stripping away of any limits on campaign contributions by private contributions.
It is this corporate pandering by our politicians and now our justices that have led to and will expand upon the corporate abuse of private citizens, i.e. your sons.
I hope in the future, you will reflect upon and think about the things in our legal, economic, and social systems that aid you and your family and not myopically call it the result of losing your right to bear arms or the expansion of welfare rights.
Unfortunately some conservative Republicans and some Blue Dog Democrats seem to have forgotten these facts. Maybe it's the corporate money that is so blinding.

on teh blogs. So if that was sarcastic, may I translate what I think you were saying?
It's a really good thing that because the Democrats passed the health care reform bill you are now able to put your sons back on your insurance policy. Without that particular part of the bill, they would both be exposed to risk through the vagaries of the market.
Was that anywhere on target?
