As we all know, two of the highest profile North Carolina races still undecided involve incumbents who are, quite frankly, liars. On the Democratic side, there's Jim Black, scrambling like hell to retain his seat in the NC House. And in the Party of Torture, we have Robin Hayes, a coward who refuses to admit that he sold out his district on the CAFTA vote and then lied about it. (He also stole a photograph from Southern Dem and used it in a campaign mailer.)

If there were any justice, both of these crooks would drop to their knees, apologize to the people of North Carolina, and do the only honorable thing left to do:

Because the fact is, neither Black nor Hayes will have any value to North Carolina even if they do stay in office. They are both damaged goods, all but irrelevant in a new era that promises more accountability, integrity and competence.

I know this is wishful thinking. Both of these clowns believe they are god's gift to our state and that we simply can't make do without them. I don't know how either of them can stand to look in the mirror.

Black's lead may actually be widening. Because of a precinct split by two NC House districts (100 and 104) 446 ballots in the Black/ Jordan race for the District 100 may not count. According to an AP report in the Charlotte Observer the removal of these votes would favor Black.

This is what some people are wishing for because they want to see him indicted while in office.

Both need to be Martinized as soon as possible. I need to be Martini-ized as soon as possible.

I read that.

I'd be calling for a re-vote. Very funky stuff going on down there in the Queen City.

If Black wins..

And then resigns, can the Gov'n'r appoint someone to take his seat? Wouldn't that be the same as Dan Blue taking over Rep. Bernard Allen's seat in the 33rd ... That way, the seat would stay in Dem hands, and someone 'clean' could take it over, thereby giving the Dems the ability to say they are working to get the corruption out of the State legislature.

To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only UNPATRIOTIC and servile, but it is morally treasonable to the American public.

Politicians are like diapers. They should be changed frequently, and for the same reasons.

Now that's the best idea I've heard in awhile

Good thinking.
