A sliver of good news

for real people ... not so good for corporate people. Tough tomatoes, Duke Energy. Even Deputy Assistant Governor McCrory can't save your ass on this one.

The Supreme Court refused on Tuesday to consider reducing the Environmental Protection Agency's authority to set air quality standards, leaving intact a tough new limit on sulfur dioxide emissions in a victory for the Obama administration.

Without comment, the court decided not to hear an appeal by Grupo Mexico SAB's Asarco LLC unit of a lower court ruling that upholds a 2010 EPA rule limiting sulfur dioxide in the air to 75 parts per billion over one hour.

I have a dream - 1 gun store per state.

I would really like to see a time when guns are only available in 1 store per state. Several states have done that with access to LEGAL, SCOTUS approved abortion. Perspective guns owners could also be forced to return to the store after a 3-5 day wait, be subjected to an IQ test, have to listen to a list of anti-gun stats such as ' a gun in the home is 3 times more likely to be used on a friend and family member than on an intruder.', and be forced to view graphic pictures of people killed by guns. Well regulated indeed.
