The conversion of a climate-change skeptic
Don't expect extremist ideologues like Thom Tillis and Pat McCrory to give a damn, but it's good to see there are still some adults who are capable of critical thinking.
Call me a converted skeptic. Three years ago I identified problems in previous climate studies that, in my mind, threw doubt on the very existence of global warming. Last year, following an intensive research effort involving a dozen scientists, I concluded that global warming was real and that the prior estimates of the rate of warming were correct. I’m now going a step further: Humans are almost entirely the cause.

Science is illegal in North Carolina
There is no NC angle to this story, unfortunately. You see, Republicans in the General Assembly made science illegal in North Carolina.
Good to see
Although I'm not sure he's correct about Greenland's ice loss. It's losing quite a bit of net volume every year, between the accelerated melt and calving. I'm not sure if it will make it to 2025, much less 2035.
