Counterprotest at Rep. Brad Miller's office, 4pm TODAY

It is my understanding that at 4:00pm today (Friday) the NC Tea Party Revolution is holding a protest at
Rep. Brad Miller's Office on St. Mary's St.
If you have time, or can make time, please consider counter protesting in civil, quiet opposition. The more civil, respectful and legitimate opposition that shows, the more legitimate our side will be.
My family and I will be there!

What would you like to represent...what are your concerns....how are you affected.

Just wanted Rep. Miller and his constituents to know that the community is not of a single mind. Our family's signs said "Christians for a robust public healthcare option," "Don't stifle intelligent debate," and "A small business owner for a public healthcare option."
It was also great that 4 of the tv reporters (ABC, NBC, News 14 Carolina, and WUNC-TV) interviewed one of the six of us amidst the 650+ representing the opposing view. Just our being present helped make sure that the television reporting of the event was multifaceted.
The one person they interviewed
that was in the meeting has eight home-schooled children and no health insurance. Doesn't want any. He thinks all health insurance should be outlawed. If one of his children gets sick, he negotiates with the doctor up front. That's what we all should do...negotiate with the doctors. If you need emergency surgery..oh well. Now, why wasn't that on TV?
