D'Annunzio loses what little cool he has

by waging war against dreadfully evil anonymous posters:

Hiding behind these web sites as "anonymous" is the same as hiding under a the white hood, COWARDS. You wouldn't dare say these things to my face, but I wouldn't have any trouble telling you this same thing to yours, if you dared.

Placing an expandable note in your tags (Kissell) is slick.

How does one do that?

And I'd be interested in your commentary/reasons for thinking Larry is actually working for North Carolinians. My wife and I worked hard for him making calls and sending money and
1. He has yet to respond to any letter sent to him
2. His votes aren't what I hoped for...and neither are his explanations.
3. When I've called his office his staff has been less than interested.

I suppose since we're not in his district he doesn't have to care...but he did when he was soliciting money and asking for GOTV help. Just sayin....

Putting Larry in the tags

doesn't mean I think he's done a good job, Stan.

D'Annunzio's challenging Kissel, so both of them should be tagged, to draw the attention of those who are interested in the race.

The Kissell tag..when my cursor passes over it...says

he's "working for North Carolina." I thought that implied an endorsement.

Stan Bozarth

I never noticed that before

That's weird. I didn't do it, but someone must have programmed the thing for that tag sometime in the past.

That's why I asked how you did it....

I thought it was slick...

Stan Bozarth

i think that one basic criteria for serving in elected office

should be the individual has to be mature enough to not engage in a blog comment flame war. Or, at the very least, do it in an interesting or creative way. His KKK reference is just a variation on a time-honored internet tradition. Come on, Tim... mix it up, buddy!

Paraclete

Dr. D has visited BlueNC, using the name Paraclete, which is his tough-guy, war profiteer moniker. He wrote this week before last.

You should come hear me speak rather than just make your always wrong assumptions based on out of context quotes. Every one of your assertions are incorrect. Will be praying for you.

I subsequently invited him over to clear up our "always wrong" assumptions. He hasn't responded.

NOTE TO TIM: Please stop praying for me. I have enough trouble without a frickin' lunatic like you interfering in my relationship with god.

300 Paraclete Tim is at the Gate? No Man Sleeps?

Dr. D has visited BlueNC, using the name Paraclete* James

My knowledge of ancient history might be a little fuzzy here, But wasn't "Paraclete" the Commander of "Alexlander The Great" fighting 69 th Gay Male elite "Silver Spears" Special Forces Unit based outside of Sparta,Georgia? Republican Chairman Tom Fetzer wants to know? And Tom is not Gay!

It gets worse for Mr. Duh

Radiogirl has the news.

I try to avoid snark about anyone’s religious beliefs. That’s a personal matter. But you know, it’s not everyday you hear a candidate for Congress telling you he’s a direct conduit for God’s messages about the End Times, either.

I’m curious about whether this will have any effect on his chances in the 8th’s GOP primary. More secular Republicans may find his heady brew of theology and politics a little troubling. But D’Annunzio is positioning himself as the most conservative contender in the field – and for far right-wing Republicans, this sort of thing may be more of a plus than a minus. Additionally, if you read through the blog, it’s clear D’Annunzio could pass any conservative purity test anywhere with flying colors. So it’s hard to say whether this’ll do him any damage.

There's a word for people like Mr. Duh. But Jesus won't let me use it.

i'm gonna assume...

...our friend mr. d'annunzio is not aware that thomas paine's "common sense" was written anonymously...unless, of course, he is aware but thinks paine was a kkk sympathizer.

Suck it up you

Suck it up you liberals...Congressman Kissell is a one termer. You can't vote with Pelosi 96% of the time and stay. Read em and weep!

Hmmmm

Let's see. The NC-8 choices are:

A. Vote for a lunatic end-times war profiteer with a Jesus complex

B. Vote for for a conservative Democrat ex-school teacher who's trying to dig America out from eight years of the Bush Dark Ages

Let me guess: You have a Jesus complex too!

Suck it up?

You are confuse Tea Bagger! Mostly Progressives comment on this site about the state of affairs of Red Zone Republican Conservative Sara Palins who believe that a 2nd coming of a Neo-con Paradise is just around the corner and next to the town square of Mayberry North Carolina..Besides, don't you know that the real liberals of the 19 th century were Libertarians. And stop watching Glenn Beck! It will increase your IQ to at least 90 on American Political History. And stop using Pervert Republican Terms that show your God, whom you worship!

Please don't link Mayberry

Please don't link Mayberry with right wing tea baggers. Andy was a yellow dawg, Barney was great about putting up signs for D's, Aunt Bea and Clara were progressives, Floyd was a moderate Democrat (like me)that always set the record straight when one of his customers started talking nonsense based on what they had heard on Jesse Helms' commentary on WRAL, and Helen was NCAE rep. at her school. Oh and Opie was a hippie protester at UNC. They all played for the right team. Not a neo con, tea bagger, or Chamber of commerce Republican in the bunch (except Emitt and Howard but they always worked with the D's to find common ground). Sorry for the rant but I just thought it important to set the record straight.

I'm a moderate Democrat.
