Dear Wake County GOP

Please do North Carolina a favor and get your stinking party of our beautiful state. You might find yourselves more at home south of the border, where white supremacy is all the rage, and crazy is a way of life. And take this vile creature with you.

Let em soak up the hate

If they want to spend that kind of money to hear a hate-filled rant with no ties to reality, then I say go for it. We already know the GOP is full of Regressives. The least they can do is expose their bigotry as well.

Only morons listen to her or Caribou Barbie anyway, so obviously the NCGOP is willing to pay for morons to re-affirm to their base that hate and bigotry are basic platforms of the GOP.

What cracks me up more is that anyone would invite this troglodyte to speak at all.

Am I the only one seeing black words on a blue background

on the website?

Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent. ~~ Salvor Hardin

Weird

I'm not sure, Frank. It's all good on my screen, I use Firefox.

Others having trouble? Let me know and I'll see what I can do to fix things.

Boy, did I misunderstand what this was all about

"black words on a blue background"

Think about it. :<)

I've seen the same thing.

I refreshed...and after a couple trys it went away.

I just got scrubbed by the N&O

I posted a comment on the above linked article asking the author to actually quote Coulter:

"I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic Presidential candidate, John Edwards, but it turns out that you have to go into rehab if you use the word, 'faggot', so..."

instead of using this watered-down reference:

She all but accused Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards of North Carolina of being gay during a speech to the 2007 Conservative Political Action Conference

and my comment was removed.

Jane, you should be offended by the use of the word, "faggot", and so should your readers. But it's not your job to "clean up" the language of those you're covering. It mitigates the negative consequences of their (own) actions, and helps to paint a false image of your subject.

Another good reason not to comment there

Pretty sad stuff. No wonder Mark Johnson quit.
