Did they lie about everything?

Sure seems that way

Here they are, claiming that a guy they tortured gave them information to foil a west-coast terrorist attack ... except for the small fact that the guy was captured a year AFTER the imaginary attack was supposed to have happened.

If you're a private-citizen-turned-torture-champion and you still believe what you hear about the effectiveness of waterboarding, you need some serious psychological help.

Last night on Countdown with Keith Olbermann

Former Brig. Gen. Janis Karpinski (Ret) had this righteous rant.....

She spoke passionately about her soldiers. She said that they were good soldiers carrying out the orders given to them. She asked where VP Cheney was 5 years ago when these soldiers (Lindy England and Charles Grainer) were being accused of the atrocities that took place at Abu Ghraib.

I saw that

You know the jig is up when top brass start breaking ranks.

And yet the wingnuts said it was crazy to think that prison was the proper place for George W. Bush to retire. I hope the guy rots in jail ... or hell for those of you who prefer godliness.

The information pouring out

along with those who are trying to cover their a$$ is reminiscent of the end of the Nixon presidency. I just hope that if Obama ends up pardoning Bush, he does it after he is reelected in 2012. If Bush could be subjected to even a short time in prison maybe it would help his karma.

You would have thought

Keith was talking about Bush when he said the President is pardoning CIA agents who "followed orders" to torture. Sadly, hes not. I am shocked that Obama is letting these agents, off without prosecution. Awww, those poor CIA agents, being bullied by their superiors into torturing someone. I guess we should rethink the Nuremberg Trials and forgive the Sudanese soldiers who are raping and murdering entire villages. It seems like we live in a pretty backward society when people are given moral permission by the President to torture simply because they wear a badge, have a government title, and were told to.

I would add that a few years ago, there was a news release...

saying that Pelosi and some other top Dems had been in a meeting with Bush & gang, where they outlined their interrogation proceedings. Their was no objections. So maybe this is a reason for not wanting to seek justice on this 'torture' issue?

Soon they will start

Throwing each other under the bus! I think that Rumsfield, and Rice will be the fall guys!
