Attend the Board Meeting, but more importantly call Board Members and Mayors prior and demand CEO accountability. Do you want to pay 5% more on your rates every year because the CEO does not know how to do a refinancing of the debt and screws it up.
Demand Accountability. This is a public entity hiding.

This is a public building and your electric rates built it. Visit and see what you paid for. It is your building and the board is supposed to represent you.

Rate Increase Meeting
I was very disappointed at how many people that was at the meeting. A 14% increase is a lot and then the cities can add there % to that.. I was looking for people to be there that had true doc. to help show the real reason.What happen to those people. Lawyers where was thoes. Can someone tell me what is really going on? What is PEC System Average Energy Cost? That was nearly half the increase at 6.2% or 37 million dollars. All together total amount or increase is 84 million.
Attendance
I think it was ok for a first time asking people to come. People have trouble coming on weekdays when they have to work and we are just getting started getting the word out to folks. Also some folks were told they could not speak at this meeting so that turned a few away. The attorney helping had a conflict but will meet anytime.
