Fetzer bashes D'Annunzio

The not-gay leader of the GOP freaks out a little:

Republican Party leaders have escalated an unprecedented campaign against one of their own congressional candidates, with N.C. GOP chairman Tom Fetzer calling Tim D'Annunzio "unfit for public office at any level."

"What he could do to the party as our nominee is secondary in my view to what he could do to the country if he got elected. If he got elected, for crying out loud, that would be a disaster."

Read the rest of the article. It will blow your mind.

Like this:

Anne D'Annunzio alluded to her ex-husband's conversion in a 1995 court document.

She claimed he told her, among other things, that "God was going to drop a 1,000-mile high pyramid" on Greenland and that he had found the Ark of the Covenant in Arizona.

Okay, first of all, the Ark isn't in Arizona, it's on the left side of that huge warehouse where it was put after Indy saved it from the Nazis. Second of all, God's not going to drop the pyramid on Greenland, he's going to drop it on Tunguska, so nobody will ever be able to find what remains of Tesla's tower.

This guy is plainly delusional.

Fetzer vs. D'Annunzio

The only difference I see between the two men is that D'Annunzio is honest about his desires.

1st impression

Before the primary I came home to a robo-call message on my answering machine from D'Annunzio. "I'm Tim D'Annunzio.. I'm a christian and I'm a conservative..."

To start off a call for political office by stating your religion sets off warning bells & raises red flags.
To find that he is a born again, searchin' for the Ark of the Covenant, recovering heroin addict speaks volumes.

1st impression.. born-again whack-job that doesn't need to be anywhere near the legislative process.

This makes one wonder how

Not Gay Fetzer can live with HIS duplicity!

What's the difference?

Tim D'Annunzio (or however you spell his name) or Howard Johnson? Gee, if I were a Republican, I'd be in a deep state of depression right now. Neither of these Republicans are stable men of character. I'm confident Larry Kissell will be able to hold on to the seat in order to spare the 8th District with the embarrassment of sending another retard to Washington. I'm hoping Congress can't get any worse than what we are all currently suffering under now. We actually have politicians, passing laws that affect all of us, that think islands float - and we're expecting them to lead us out of financial ruin?
