PS Coleman may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, as evidenced by his misguided efforts to subvert the will of the people in Minnesota, but Franken is smart as a whip. You may not agree with is progressive politics, but that doesn't make him dumb.

Not justifying anything. Equalizer called Al Franken a buffoon and I simply said I felt the same way about Reagan and Thompson. Equalizer then claimed that Thompson and Reagan didn't use profanity or vulgarities and I simply reminded him that the Vice President of the United States(Cheney) not only dropped the F bomb, but he did so on the floor of the Senate directing it at a United States Senator.

I didn't relay that to justify Al Franken's past behavior, but to make sure Equalizer remembers that his conservative vice president displayed far worse behavior while acting as Vice President, not while performing as a professional comedian.
