This particular song always brings me chills when Neely (Jesus) says,
"Surely you're not saying we have the resources to save the poor from their lot. There will be poor always, pathetically struggling. Look at the good things you've got."

“Aware of this, Jesus said to them, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me. The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me. When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. I tell you the truth, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.””
(Matt 26:10-13 NIV)
Love me like she does . . . you will always be able to help the poor (and you should), but I am about to die.
Of course, Judas, hearing this, goes out and makes it happen. How many poor people do you think he helped with his silver?

"They took all the trees and put them in a tree museum Then they charged the people a dollar 'n a half just to see 'em. Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got till it's gone? They paved paradise and put up a parking lot."

I think it was Henry Block the Third, actually.
Using the simple formula below:
input the unnecessary data required to arrive at this pointless conclusion.
As an additional step, multiply the minutes it took you to arrive at this pointless conclusion, and multiply by 3.5. This is the actual numerical quality of life loss you've suffered from this exercise. Use the chart on page 12 to determine how angry you should be.
I wonder if guys who do this are going to hell, too? Surely god can't be down with this kind of thing. Isn't there something in Leviticus to tell us what to do about it?
there's a lot of theology in
there's a lot of theology in that song.

Do good. Be nice. Have fun.
It's an interesting passage from scripture, too

On a lighter note ...
Last weekend's Grand Opening of the Clayton Farm and Community Market was a total, complete, unquestionable SCORE!
We'll be there again tomorrow, 8am to 1pm.
Check out the video, write up, coverage and pictures.

Not going to burn in hell......
Leviticus 21:17 - Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
Leviticus 21:20 - (at the end of a list of "blemishes" listed in 18 through 20)....or hath his stones broken
I guess if you really think about it, all of humanity to this day are survivors-in-spite-of-Leviticus.
