Goodall wants to continue lobbying himself

Forming another charter school group he can switch hats with:

Goodall, who was president of the N.C. Alliance for Public Charter Schools, said he is starting the N.C. Public Charter Schools Association. He will be the new group's executive director.

This story is so rife with conflicts of interest, I don't even know where to begin. I also find it amazing that the Legislative Ethics Commission (or whoever) hasn't already taken action. I guess we'll have to wait until the taxpayers have shoveled out a few hundred million to Goodall's clients before somebody sits up and takes notice.

In a posting to its website, the alliance said it is moving to a de-centralized approach, opening regional offices instead of having a "Raleigh-centered operational structure" and maintaining a full-time staff.

You may have gotten your legislation passed, but the fat lady hasn't even pulled into the parking lot yet. If you don't think Fast Eddie has a plan to force former clients to become new clients again, you don't understand the game very well.
