Grassroots Farm Team Update - 10.04.10 Edition

It's Time to Organize

No matter how the national winds are blowing, we're not going to be out-organized in 2010. Many of you already know that the Farm Team is asking for Hamiltons to defeat Burr.

We are committed to raising 1010 $10 bills by 10/10/10, but we can't do it without your help.

Here's how you can help:

1. Promote one of our ActBlue pages.

We've put together a couple of ActBlue pages with different themes to choose from.

• This page is a simple Farm Team page, with our graphics and mission.
• The North Carolina Democrats: Fight Back Against Dirty Tricks page highlights two candidates who have recently been subjected to vandalism and libel from 527 groups.
• My personal favorite - North Carolinians for Equality - salutes our leaders who stand up for equal rights.
• Finally, by using this link, you can make your own fundraising page with the Farm Team and your favorite candidates.

Unfortunately, because of the recession the "if you build it, they will come" mantra doesn't work as well as it did back in 2006. So you've got to call and e-mail your friends, put it on your twitter, and post it to your facebook! The great thing about ActBlue is that even the smallest donations can push a page onto the national radar.

2. Like us on facebook, where people can now donate directly on our Fan Page!

3. E-mail us at NCFarmTeam <:at:> gmail.com to get involved in the October 8th MarshallBomb!

It will be here sooner than you know - and we need all the help we can get. We need to be well on our way to beating 1010 donations by then, and we can only do it with your networking help!
