Halloween- Past & Present
Lets take a load off from the never ending political battles and elections and talk Halloween.
What are you doing for Halloween? Where are you going? Hitting up the tried and true Franklin Street experience, trying out the Haunted Hillsborough St Halloween in Raleigh to support local businesses during a time of road construction, taking your kids trick o treating (or going yourself?), or hitting up a Halloween party or community event? Let us know!
And if you feel so inclined tell us, or share pictures of your Halloween costumes past & present. I'll get us started below the fold.
Be on the look out for Captain America patrolling the streets... well only 1 street: Franklin Street this Halloween.

I've got some pics of previous halloweens that are a little sillier, but I'm not sharing any more unless and until others do!

Oh what a good idea!
Maybe I can dig up some pictures of the girls in the early days and scan them in. Pre-digital, of course. I have no pictures of me dressed as Sarah Palin last year. I'm always the one behind the camera.

Halloween
I've been a pirate, Harry Potter, and a vampire.
One year my husband went as Batman, and I went as Robin.
This year I'm the Phantom of the Opera.
If I find a picture of myself I like and figure out how to post them I might share it. :D

Have you uploaded the picture to Photobucket or one
of the other picture hosting sites? If so, try this code minus the spaces between the < and the >.... < img src="the url of your picture" >
If push comes to shove just email it to me and I will post.

I tend to use facebook as my place to upload the pics, then you right click on the pick and click Copy Image Location.
Then you type into your post here on BlueNC [img src="PasteTheImageLocationYouCopiedHere"]
Except use < > instead of [ ] on the ends

Politics and ghoulish humor, what could be more natural?
Progressives are the true conservatives.
Don't have any pictures but here's a link
on YouTube where we got our idea. Hubby and I were stick people for Halloween.
It was the hit of the party and not very expensive. The biggest problem we had was that it took about 40 minutes to put the whole thing together.
