Welcome to BlueNC! Thanks for posting.
Please don't take offense, but I would like to suggest that some might confuse the user name "charlotteobserver" with the daily Charlotte newspaper, arguably the most influential in the state.
I certainly thought at first that you were affiliated with the Charlotte Observer.
Sorry my welcome to you is to bring up a potential, if only small, problem.

yes, i understand
the ambiguity my name engenders. but someone has to observe what is occurring in mecklenburg county.
I, for one, am glad to have a Charlotte observer
in the mix here. The Queen City continues to be a puzzlement to me.
Charlotte and Mecklenburg
While Charlotte is the 800 pound gorilla of Mecklenburg, there are many of us that live outside of Charlotte. There are six other towns here and I for one, am one of the few that only live in the county.

Since developing an interest in beach renourishment at the coast maybe one of us could be the New Sand Observer
Ahhhhhhh haha
Good one, Greg.
Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.
thank you
i believe hillary is the best candidate for the democratic party, and i hope she is able to convince you and others that she is the democrat who will deliver the change we desperately need.
Forgot to say welcome
I'm not with you on Hillary, but I'm really glad you're making yourself heard nonetheless. That's what we're here for.
Thanks for joining us.
