Howard Coble questions Scott McClellan
The Congressman from NC's 6th District was questioning Scott McClellan during a committee meeting this morning. It won't come as any shock to most of you, but Coble made a few statements that really call into question his information gathering abilities. From the dailykos live blog of the meeting:

talks about how he still believes Iraq had WMD..still has doubts as to whether Scooter should have been prosecuted.
Sigh.
Old guy: "Should more have been done to [go after] Richard Armitage..what was your reaction?"
SM: Talks about how t would have been best for full disclosre as quickly about it. Notes that the WH promised to talk fully about this when it was behind us, and how they have refused to do so.
Old guy: Goes backk to "post-entry strategy"

Wow. Now that is a committed old Bush man ... head firmly planted in sand. Or somewhere.

Woah, Leslie
That's almost hard to believe even for Coble.
Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.
I know.
It is hard to believe. We have a Congressman in NC who is a bonafide member of the "Iraq-had-WMDs-and-Donald-Rumsfeld-still-knows-where-they-are" crowd? Feels like the twilight zone. Makes me anxious to get home and watch the C-Span video.

You mean "Cobal"
How powerless has he been that MSNBC can't even spell his name right. He really made a fool out of himself and NC with that rigmarole.
I guess it's "Lie Day" as...
BraveNew Films called it today. lol.
At least McClellan spoke the truth when he said that the White House is still concealing info on this:
