Howard Dean to Register Voters in NC Friday

Howard Dean will be registering voters in Raleigh, Charlotte and Greensboro Friday, July 25th, the Democratic National Committee reports.

This is the extension of the Register for Change Bus Tour that began in Crawford, Texas in conjunction with the Netroots Nation Conference…and here’s a quick rundown of the three events:

--At 9:00 AM Dean will be at the State Democratic Party Headquarters, which is located at 220 Hillsborough Street in Raleigh. He’s scheduled to leave at 10:00 AM.

--From noon ‘til 1:15 PM he’s supposed to be in Greensboro at the Governmental Plaza (afternoon tee time at Gillespie, anyone?).

--The “afternoon matinee” will be presented on the grounds of the Margery Thompson Professional Development Center, 428 West Boulevard in “The Hornet’s Nest”, Charlotte, from 3:30 to 4:45 PM.

So if you get the chance, stop by and meet Howard Dean…and if you know someone who still hasn’t registered…bring ‘em along—and if you’re headed to Greensboro make them pay for the “refreshing beverage” after a nice 9 holes of pitch n’ putt.

A quick thanks to PR Newswire for the heads-up.

We had the wrong time for Raleigh Blue NC in a previous thread...

Our children need to know that some people fought back, when others collaborated.
