If it's not about jobs
... the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office has examined several potential job-creation proposal to see what would do the most. Yesterday, the Center for Budget and Policy Priorities noted that the proposal that comes in last is Senator Hagan’s ill-conceived giveaway to corporations with foreign income.

In today's upside down world, Hagan probably thinks this makes her dumb idea a winner. And truth be told, it is a winner ... if you happen to be a billionaire CEO.

Hagan was a shill for big or
Hagan was a shill for big or otherwise, business in the State Senate, what on earth did any progressive Democrat in NC think she would be otherwise in the US Senate. Hagan was damn lucky in 08 because she was elected on the Obama turnout and lots of straight ticket voting. Hagan will not have that help next time. She deserves an old fashioned primary opponent who really is looking out for the 99% in this state rather than her and her husbands business colleagues and friends. The junior Senator from NC knows full well that tax breaks for big business to repatriate the 60 trillion or billion monies they hold of broad under the BS of job creation is just that,BS. Her cosponsor for the bill was Sen John McCain a real advocate of job creation, right. She has done nothing...NOTHING ...for the 10+%(truth is its much closer to 20+%) un- and under employed in this State, much of which, if not most, are hard working middle class Democrats. Sen Hagan pandered to the right and the bigots in this State and voted against the Dream Act. One assumes she thought that vote might get her a few right wing and tea party votes. We will just see Kay in 2014 want we? Hopefully they will replace all the Democrats who will not.
