It's a start, John
From North Carolina's leading conservative intellectual
I think amending North Carolina’s constitution to forbid gay and lesbian couples from receiving any future legal recognition, including civil unions, is unwise and unfair. In my opinion the real threat to marriage is not the prospect of gay people getting hitched. It is the reality of straight people too quickly resorting to divorce, or never getting hitched in the first place.
It's time to put the weight of your leadership, and Art Pope's money, behind those words, Mr. Hood. BlueNC extremists like me have contributed many thousands of dollars to help stop Amendment One. We'd welcome your contributions too.
BlueNC is dedicated to making North Carolina a more progressive and prosperous state. If your intention is to disrupt this effort, please find somewhere else to express your opinions.

Lest anyone forget
Here's last Thursday's post asking the question, why JLF hasn't lifted a finger against 2012's Amendment One.
Do read the comments from yours truly.
Oops!
I thought you might post something on this, James. I'll throw mine over to the side.
WTF is Hood talking about JLF not writing about social issues?
Fire up teh Google and check out this gem among others.
Hood is just a flat-out lying about JLF not being a platform for social policy matters.
Why do politicos in NC still pretend to respect him?
He lies, and then claims a cloak of civility to make his lies somehow more palatable to those willing to accept lies.
I don't know which disgusts me more -- the liar or those that continue to enable him.
