Jesse Ventura! Tea Party A Laugh, Rips GOP! Supports Public Option!

That was just SUCH a good interview by Larry King with Jesse Ventura. We here on BlueNC are all about doing the work for fellow democrats and, in particular progressive democrats. But, you know what? Jesse, in all his WWF glory, has made some VERY interesting and VERY to-the-point remarks in that video. What can I say? You never cease to amaze me :). Our country is "polarized" (as Jesse puts it) because of the two major parties and their quest for power. His contention is that BOTH parties put parties first, the american people and our nation second. Someone here give me a good argument against that.

I loved his remarks about the teaparty movement. I almost stood up and hollered EXACTLY !!!!

Party politics has gone to the lowest level I have ever seen it in my .. years. I think the repubs began this 75 degree downhill slide in politics when Reagan (along with Newt of course) was elected and it has continued ever since. Sure, it has been bad ever since the days of George Washington, but NEVER, EVER at this level. Our whole country is at risk now because of it.

The dude never took a bibe nor padded his income while in office nor accepted the Governor salary, unlike the Sara Palin family or some limo corporate democrats.....His wife owns a small horse farm in Minnesota which is worth about 140 thousand dollars and depends on rental income to house horses during the winter season. The State property tax on the property is about 13,000 thousand a year and is paid on time as it has been for the past 26 years.
He uses most of his income to pay for his daughter's medical problems since he has no insurance to cover her inmense medical expense.

I would think that you would be for the little guy as a democrat instead of acting like a elite Republican with no knowledge of history or facts..
