I just think it's something to celebrate that Joe Hackney, who is being invited to speak around the country because of his work on ethics in NC, belongs to NC.
After all, when was the last time any of us read about a politician of his profile who was so widely acknowledged for being clean *and* effective?
I hope we'll see him at the inaugural ball this evening. And I hope my feet don't hurt, 'cause this footwear is pinching already.
And I wish I had done something about all this danged gray hair that keeps a-comin' outta my head.
