Joe McLaughlin has resigned from the Onslow County Board of Commissioners.
"This move will allow me to spend day and night fighting for a return to conservative leadership in Washington,” said McLaughlin, a Republican who is challenging Rep. Walter Jones for the 3rd District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
I wonder if the reports of Congressman Walter B. Jones, Jr. continued support by the GOP have something to do with this?
