Kay Hagan Receives the Unanimous Endorsement of NC's (D) Congressional Team
Congressman David Price was joined by the entire Democratic congressional delegation from North Carolina in endorsing Kay Hagan for U.S. Senate. While this might provide some of us with a, "Well, Duh" moment, we have to keep in mind that our congressmen aren't all from the same mold, so this is quite an accomplishment.
What are they saying about Kay?
Kay Hagan has a decade-long record of effectiveness in the North Carolina State Senate, and has earned the distinction of being one of the Senate’s top 10 most effective lawmakers for three consecutive terms. She’s a work horse, not a show horse. Her commitment to getting things done for North Carolinians is exactly what North Carolina needs in the U.S. Senate: an effective, pragmatic leader committed to getting things done for North Carolinians. Rep. David Price, 4th CD
For years Kay has been a tireless advocate for her constituents in Greensboro. We need that kind of advocacy for our state in the United States Senate. I look forward to working with her in Washington on the important issues facing our country today: high gas prices, a new energy policy, the war in Iraq, health care and educating our young people. Rep. Mel Watt, 12th CD
Kay Hagan is committed to a better and brighter North Carolina, and she will fight for increased access to health care, an improved educational system and a more robust economy, which will lead to better opportunities for all citizens. Rep. Mike McIntyre, 7th CD
Kay Hagan will be an effective voice in the U.S. Senate for North Carolina's teachers and students. As a state senator, Kay worked to increase teacher pay and reduce classroom sizes. This is the leadership that North Carolina needs in the U.S. Senate. Rep. Bob Etheridge, 2nd CD
I worked closely with Kay Hagan for four years in the state Senate, and my congressional district and her state Senate district overlap in Greensboro, so I’ve kept working with her. Kay will never forget that she represents North Carolina in the United States Senate. Rep. Brad Miller, 13th CD
Throughout the course of this campaign, I have had the opportunity to get to know more about Kay and watch her in action. She’s been in my district, going to churches with me and talking to voters who are concerned about their future and that of their children. What’s clear to me is that she is the real deal: She’s bright, she listens and she is ready to go head-to-head with Elizabeth Dole to fight for working families and people all across this state. Rep. G.K. Butterfield, 1st CD
In the state Senate, Kay Hagan has been a leader for the creation of clean, sustainable energy sources, and I know that she will continue working to make our nation energy independent in the U.S. Senate. Rep. Heath Shuler, 11th CD
While none of us here will vote for Kay based solely on what our congressman says about her, their strong support will help her gain trust and build name recognition in their respective congressional districts. Every little bit helps, so when the big bits fall into place you can't help but feel good about it.

Glad to see this
And I hope its the beginning of a tidal wave of leaders speaking up clearly that Liddy Dole has to go.
Not to split hairs but...
I think you're missing "Democratic" after entire and before congressional.
Yup....I am
then again.....the others just don't really matter. :D
Off to a good start!
From what I've seen, Hagan is running very close to Dole in the polls. And, it's still early.
I think we stand a very good chance to kick Dole out of office! (Knock on wood).
