Kay Hagan Sounds Angry

I don't know Senator Hagan that well, but I remember the sound of her voice when she spoke after former Senator Dole questioned her faith. I don't think this quite reaches that level of fury, but she sure doesn't sound happy.
The AP report that U.S. banks increased their applications to hire foreign workers for high-paying jobs in positions such as senior vice presidents, corporate lawyers, junior investment analysts and human resources specialists, at the same time they were announcing massive layoffs, is a cause for concern. Based on the unfortunate layoffs we have seen week-after-week in the banking industry, it stands to reason that American banks should not have trouble finding experienced, well-qualified American workers. At a time when banks are receiving billions in taxpayer dollars, any new hiring they do should be concentrated on that pool of those American workers who already live in their local communities.
Senator Hagan, it is hard to believe that the ivory tower boys and girls give a rat's backside about the locals who might be able to fill those jobs. It appears they're more concerned with destroying our economy than rebuilding it.
Stay mad. We need you fighting for us.

Maybe Hagan and McCaskill and some of the other younger new Senators will beat some sense into the remainder of those stodgy, conceited, preening, self-serving, arrogant, feckless windbag "senior" senators.
They deserve our support. Your phone is your friend. Call Hagan and McCaskill and others and tell them you like what you're hearing and to keep after it.
And, let the other windbags know you don't care for what they're doing or not doing.

This is what your Republican Senator from North Carolina is doing while Rome, GA burns. His incredible decision to be a partisan hack from hell in this time of national need is all we NEED know about him. Republican or Democrat or from Mars, the man should be working for the people of North Carolina instead of the wingnuts of North America.
