Ummm, Roy? Roy, who? I think we knew someone named that once, but didn't he die or something?

Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.

And, he had a very, very, very good year.

He may not have died, but ...
He may not have died, but he did come to Blue Heaven.
The pundits will have a whole week to write about Roy's Kansas ties, the conflict he feels, etc., etc.

"I'm Sta'in"
Remember those words Roy? The tears? The "gosh-darn-it, I love this University, there's no other place I'd rather be."
One order of humble pie coming right up. Good luck Roy, remember to carry a big stick, you will be walking down a very dark alley on Saturday Night. May you dream of nothing but three putts on Alvamar #8.
Dr. James, Coach Phogg, Coach Rupp, Coach Brown, yes even Dean Smith of 1957, will be standing tall behind the KU faithful. Your not playing against just a team, your playing against The History of the Game. You spit in the eye of the University that gave you the keys to drive the Cadillac of Basketball Programs.
I'm pretty sure Dean Smith at UNC gave him the keys.
Y'all gave him a Toyota at best, we put him in the Award Winning Sedan.
BTW, when he wins against you, does that mean he's better than Dr. James, Coach Phogg, Coach Rupp, Coach Brown and Dean Smith combined?
Wow.

Status of Coach Williams
Yep, if he beats KU this Saturday Night, then yes.... he is the best coach of all time. If he wins, we here in Kansas will drop to one knee and kiss the ring of King Williams.
BTW - I think Toyota wins more awards for sedans than whatever they drive on Chapel Hill. But make no mistake, we truely gave him a Cadillac. Doesn't mean it's going to win a drag race, but it's a pretty sweet ride.
What had Kansas done the year prior to Coach Roy showing up at Lawrence? Oh that's right - won the National Championship. That makes recruiting hard doesn't it?
As a native Kansan....
How about we send Liddy back to Kansas and keep Roy? Think my home state would call it even?

HA!
Now there's a great trade! I like the way you think, TrueMeck.

"They took all the trees and put them in a tree museum Then they charged the people a dollar 'n a half just to see 'em. Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got till it's gone? They paved paradise and put up a parking lot."
well, Liddie is from Salisbury, althougth
she probably don't remember that far back...
Maybe RoyBoy can come back to KU next year as waterboy.
I don't think the trophy holds water...

Can't be a Kansas hater
We're going to kick their butts, but I have no bad feelings towards Kansas. In fact, they are kind of like family.
is crow better hot or cold?
just wondering
We love North Carolina too
Right back at ya!! North Carolina is my second favorite state - behind Kansas. Nascar and the Biltmore - Capitalism at it's best.
Good luck Saturday - should be a great one. Oh, and we don't hate Roy, we just wish he could have at least won one championship in the fifteen years at Kansas. He had all the talent in the world, just couldn't get over that last hurdle. I hope one day we can just let it go, but those folks in Lawrence don't let anything go. Their still fighting the Civil War/Missouri when Quantrell brunt Lawrence to the ground.
Good Game UNC
Good game guys, I'm glad your team, UNC, didn't throw in the towel after the first 10 minutes. You should be proud of you team and all the accomplished this year.
Roy, you have been measured and found wanting. Watching you last night reminded me of all those tourney losses you and your teams provided the KU faithful. I would encourage you to bring your team to Lawrence one day, so they can truely appreciate the History of Basketball. "Pay Head All Who Enter, Beware of the Phogg". Rock-chalk, Jayhawk, KKKKKKKKKKKKKK UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.
Poor Kathleen, she's got to wade through a plate of vinegar sauce, BBQ. As a lame duck, she should have no problem, it's not like she's governing anymore - she's stumping for Obama. She should know that Hillary is by far the best Dem Candidate.
