Anzalone-Liszt Research (Democratic polling firm) has just conducted a new poll of 400 likely voters in the 8th district. Hayes was favored by 46 percent of likely voters, compared to 40 percent for Kissell.
Fifty-six percent gave President Bush a negative job-approval rating, with just 42 percent positive on W. The poll's margin of error was plus or minus 4.9 percent.
Our boy can win if he can just get his name out there! (I don't have the name ID numbers, but evidently Kissell's name recognition is still pretty low, which is undoubtedly hurting him).
