Margiotta wants his pound of (Black) flesh

Advocating for harsher punishment for advocates:

Rev. Barber, Mr. Tyson, Ms. Petty along with the others from outside Wake County who were arrested for disrupting and refusing to leave a School Board meeting should be ready to accept the consequences of their actions. A simple slap on the wrist, as suggested by some, is far from appropriate.

And you should be ready to accept the consequences of an election, where the voters removed you from your position of authority. And a big part of the reason why they did that can be found in your own words:

Some participants simply refused to maintain civility and adhere to proper decorum. While rude and disrespectful, this sort of behavior did not result in arrests.

Here's a little civility and decorum, Margiotta style:

Right before he made his patently not civil or decorous "Animals" comment, Margiotta cut short the phrase "Let's show sss...". Which I'm assuming would have been "some respect", or something along those lines.

Anyway, the speaker he was defending was none other than Bill Randall, perennial candidate and right-wing nutjob, who is ready to pop up anywhere the GOP needs a black face on their team. And make no mistake, Randall simply loves being the only black face around. See if you can find any others in this video:

See, the problem with carving yourself a niche like that is, when you step outside your comfort zone and speak in front of a diverse crowd, you're just not that special anymore...
