Is there nothing Myers Park Pat McCrory won't say to suck up to the right wing fringe? If he truly thinks Sarah Palin is a "great choice" for vice president, he's scarier than I thought.

“I think Gov. Sarah Palin, a former mayor with a background of cleaning up state government, is a great choice for vice president," Pat McCrory, the mayor of Charlotte and Republican gubernatorial candidate, said in a statement.

Let see. According to Pat McCrory, a person is "great choice" for vice president if she:

left her little town $22 million in debt after inheriting a budget surplus
claims it's god's will that a new pipeline gets built
considers Iraq a holy war, another shining example of god's will
says she doesn't really know what the vice president actually does

It's all understandable, of course, Pat and Palin have plenty in common. They're both puppets of Big Oil and Big Energy - and could care less about the long-term consequences of their greed and recklessness.
