McCrory's big problem

It's good to see the NC Democratic Party getting focused on Pat McCrory's Achilles heel. It's the simple issue of trust. Duke Energy and Moore & Van Allen have been paying Pat McCrory to run for governor for most of his adult life. They still are.

In this latest video, McCrory is quoted as saying, "I'm making a living right now." That's right, of course. McCrory is making a living as the hub of a gigantic money laundering scheme.

Pat McCrory wants to do for North Carolina what Mitt Romney did for Massachusetts. No thanks.

It sure gets to the heart of it

I like this latest commercial the best of the series. It gets to the heart of the problem -- why in the world would anyone vote for a man who won't tell them what he does for a living or who pays his paycheck? I'd run the other way. I do feel compelled to point out that this commercial is not from the Democratic Party, however, but from an independent expenditure group that is not allowed to coordinate with the Dem Party and takes great care not to. I hope the NC Democratic Party takes its cue from the approach and starts to put pressure on McCrory -- the man needs to respect NC voters enough to give them this information.
