McKim McMoonshine

I get all kinds of emails these days from people who, for whatever reason, can't go public with their news. This little note is about Ken McKim, the wingnut who's challenging John Snow.

I wanted to share with you an invitation that I recently came upon which just proves how much of a hypocrite John Snow’s opponent, Ken McKim is. Ken recently hosted a cocktail party fundraiser in Highlands where he promised to provide ample booze and liquor for everyone that drove to his fundraiser. After he collected his checks Ken bid his donors farewell and then let them drive themselves home after providing what I’m sure was a very intoxicating night of his lies and cheap liquor. His irresponsibility in getting people drunk without providing a designated driver is surely an indicator of how he doesn’t respect our mountain values or the safety of anyone else who uses our public roads.

I wish I could say I was making this up. But McKim, who’s not even man enough to sponsor his own negative ads on TV, sent out invitations in black and white. He actively tried to get people drunk and then let them drive home.

Maybe that is how they do things in Dallas Texas where McKim is from, but that is not something we do things here in the Mountains.

I guess I'd want to get good and drunk if I had to be in a roomful of Republican government-haters too.
