Microbes R Us

Sorry Governor Perry, but not only are corporations not people, people aren't even people. So much for the dominionists.

As they look beyond the genome, cancer researchers are also awakening to the fact that some 90 percent of the protein-encoding cells in our body are microbes. We evolved with them in a symbiotic relationship, which raises the question of just who is occupying whom.

I haven't taken any antibiotics

in like sixteen years or so. Partly out of respect for my symbiotic passengers, but also because I haven't come down with anything that's lasted more than a few days.

Anytime I feel something coming on, I consume like 2-3 dozen eggs for protein. Then I let the good guys and bad guys fight it out.

You know, I should have that etched on my headstone, just to give future geneological researchers something to laugh about. ;)
