More GOP lunacy: Tedesco for Superintendent of Schools

Welcome to the bizarro world of NC politics:

Republicans will choose between John Tedesco and Richard Alexander this summer to challenge Democratic incumbent June Atkinson as head of North Carolina's public school system. Alexander lives in Monroe and is a public school teacher.

A teacher? Well, we can't have that. You can't be relied upon to tear down a system if you're part of it.

I think Tedesco did well purely because people had heard his name before. He proves that saying about any publicity being good publicity.
