My better half
is a serious rock star in the world of adolescents sexual health and media use. Her most recent study came out in the Journal of Pediatrics this week, and today she has been on CNN and Good Morning America, and been interviewed by scores of newspapers. The results of the study are spreading fast and furious in the MSM, and those of you with younger siblings or teen children won't be happy when you read all about it. This article from the Kansas City Star does a pretty good job telling the whole sad story.

Oh all right.
I'll be the first to comment on my self-serving post. Somebody's gotta do it.
Go Dr. Brown!
don't apologize
It's awesome. you have every right to be proud and also to let us know about it. congratulations to Dr. Brown!
Very nice work
Katie doesn't listen to any of that music and she still thinks boys are stupid, smell bad and scratch themselves too much in public. Her words exactly.
I would say that the parents who have a relaxed attitude toward sex also don't monitor what their kids are putting on their Ipods. Kinda goes hand in hand.
No one likes to hear that much of it boils down to parenting, but it does. Sucks when you actually have to take responsibility for raising your children.

Hehe
actually...I've been trying to write the above post for a while...John walked in and we had to talk about Katie's National History Day project/award.
...and yes, very nice work. I'm a little ticked I didn't know she was on CNN in time to actually WATCH her....but then we were gone all morning.
